Company Profile:
Madrid Science Park (PCM) is a private non-profit foundation created in 2001 with the joint collaboration of the Autonomous University (UAM) and Complutense University (UCM).

At present, PCM is a model of leadership in the science and technology park field thanks to the dynamic role that it plays in the national R&D system. In record time, the Science Park has contributed to Madrid's being situated at the top of Spanish science and technology parks.

PCM's goals are research, development, and innovation, with special attention placed on interdisciplinary aspects, transfer of knowledge to society, businesses, and entrepreneurs, the use of R&D results in products, processes, and services that promote progress and social wellbeing.

If it can be said that PCM is a generalist park, the main sectors in which it focuses its business development and scientific operations are the following: biosciences and agro-food, information technology, new materials and nanotechnology, environment, and renewable energies. Since its founding, more than 200 companies have passed through PCM and it currently has 140 associated companies, 58% of which are NEBTs. The survival rate among all companies is 96%, which demonstrates a clear success in its business incubation and support for business development.

What we offer:
PCM has a full innovative company and entrepreneur attention system including high quality access and infrastructure and a full range of services offered by the distinct PCM units as well as by specialized professional service companies. The goal is to convert ideas into viable and profitable business projects through the application of an intensive business incubation program and business acceleration, which ultimately reaches a high level of competition and great levels of success in the market.

The PCM Business Development Unit's mission is:

 Make the knowledge and technology transfer processes in public research more profitable and agile through creating companies
 Attract R&D to the university setting from innovative companies and promote cooperation between universities, PRAs, and companies.
 Optimize the management of talent by promoting the incorporation of highly qualified staff for technology companies in positions pursuant to their training.

What are we looking for:
We are looking for enterpreneurs that want to incubate their business.

The PCM has an entire system of services for
entrepreneurs and for the incubation of
technology based businesses, providing them
with first class spaces and a wide range of
complementary R & D professional services,
essential for the viability of all kinds of
business projects.
The PCM’s Business Development model has
become a national and international benchmark in
terms of creation and incubation of businesses.
This model is structured in three levels of support
for entrepreneurs, according to their business
project level of development, aiming to speed up
and increase return on the public research
technology transfer processes, as well as
attracting R&D&I businesses to the university
environment and promoting cooperation among
university, public research institutions and the
business sector.
