INBIOTEC, located in León (Spain) and initially established in 1991, is a non-profit Technological Centre integrated into the Spanish national network of Technology Centres. The Organization brings together a broad range of enterprises and institutions engaged with innovation and fostering research and development activities in the field of biotechnology, in order to tackle both industrial and societal challenges.
Its R&D activity revolves around 5 scientific and technological areas. High on that list, the Industrial Processes area, working hand in hand with both Biomedicine and Agrofood areas, provides in-depth knowledge about a wide range of topics, namely fine chemicals, green chemistry, vaccines and diagnostics, characterization and microbial production of biofunctional molecules, etc.

What we offer:
INBIOTEC is engaged in research and development aimed at innovation in chemical companies, enhancing novel microbial bioprocesses for the new green industry. To this end, a broad expertise and cutting-edge facilities are available at INBIOTEC to carry out genetic engineering, secondary metabolites screening, microbial processes optimization and scale-up studies in fermentation.
